We look before we quote.
An inspection report is a list of questions. Some items are minutes of work, some are bigger. Telling them apart is what we do.
What We Work Through
- Double-tapped breakers. Two wires under a terminal made for one. Usually put right with a pigtail, or a breaker listed for two wires.
- Open junction boxes. A splice with no cover, or no box at all. Covered, secured and made right.
- Missing GFCI protection. Kitchens, baths, garages and outdoors. Added where the report calls for it.
- The rest of the list. Ungrounded outlets, older panels, aluminum wiring, missing filler plates. Each item gets its own answer and its own price.
Selling, buying, or the buyer asked for repairs? We go through the report with you and tell you what each electrical item needs and what it costs, before any work begins, so you can plan around escrow and the closing date.
Called yesterday, they arrived today, as scheduled, gave a good estimate, performed the repair. On time, correct and no hassle. I will continue to use their excellent services.Chris Matthews · Read on Google
