Mobile Home Electrical Problems? We Know Where To Look.
Outlets that quit, lights that flicker, a breaker that keeps tripping. In a mobile home the cause is often where the wiring meets the device, or out at the pedestal. We find which, and tell you what it costs before any work begins.

We look before we quote.
A mobile home is wired like a house, but not quite, and it is fed from outside. Knowing which side the problem is on is what we do.
What We Look At
- Aluminum branch wiring. Common in mobile homes from the late 1960s and 70s. It loosens and oxidizes where it meets outlets, switches and the panel. That is where the flicker and the warmth start, and where we look first.
- The breaker box. Inside, or on the end wall. The breakers, the connections behind them, and whether it is sized for what the home runs now.
- The pedestal and the feeder. Call it the pedestal, the power pole or the service equipment: the park’s power reaches the home through it. A fault out there looks like a fault inside, and we tell you which side it is on, and whose it is to fix.
- What has been added. Central air, a dryer, a space heater every cold night. Each one asks the home for more than it was built to give.
Park manager? We walk a park unit by unit: every pedestal inspected, photographed and labeled, with the record in your hands before we leave. RV hookups at a house and RV park pedestals, yes. The RV itself, its converter, generator and inside wiring, is RV technician work.
